Wheel Bearings

The bearing is one of the vital parts for the rotating movement mechanisms of the vehicles. So, what does bearing mean? The part of the machine that has parts that rotate and move in different directions relative to each other is called a bearing. Bearing, which is one of the most critical parts for a safe driving experience, allows the parts to move with the least friction. In this way, higher revs can be reached with less power consumption. Bearings are used to facilitate the movement of vehicle wheels and all kinds of mechanical parts working with the rotation principle. The bearing system aims to use the balls located between the outer and inner ring structures. Thus, friction between mechanical parts is minimized. Longer life and trouble-free operation of the parts that are required to move by rotating with bearing bearings are provided. The bearing part, called the cage, prevents the components to be rolled from contact with each other. Thanks to the cage, friction is minimized. In addition, the heating problem is also taken under control. Thanks to the grease in the bearing parts, the rolling motion in the contacted outer and inner rings is facilitated. In this way, less energy is lost. When choosing a bearing, you can pay attention to many criteria such as the speed of the bearing, axial displacement, clearance ratio, the condition of the surface on which the bearing will be mounted, and the load that the bearing will carry. In this respect, it is important to consider the direction of the load. Bearing can be preferred according to radial and axial clearances. The radial clearance runs perpendicular to the center axis of the bearing. The axial clearance is monitored along the central axis. A bearing can be subjected to axial or radial loads. In addition, these two load types can act at the same time.
